So with the time drawing closer to being open again, and that date being the 4th of July. It's time for the bit I'm going to hate having to do. I'm quite care free and relaxed so I'm finding putting all these rules and regulations in place difficult, as I'm not that kind of guy. So please if I sound harsh in anyway during these next few paragraphs it's only because I have to be for the fairness, and health and safety of all of my wonderful customer base.
****POST LOCKDOWN MEASURES****
1)
Firts and foremost there will be no price increase. I always said my prices would not increase until two years of having the shop and I intend on keeping that promise.
Although, if you have a foil fade please book for a premium fade. When I first opened in didn't have a separate price for foils. Foil fades take longer to do and as a haircut last longer for you the customer. I've been a bit lapses with charging correctly for them. It effects booking times if they are not booked correctly. If the extra time is being spent its only fair that the extra time is payed for.
2)
If you or any of your family are ill PLEASE DO NOT COME IN THE SHOP FOR YOUR HAIRCUT.
The health and safety of every single one of my customers, thier families, myself and my family is of paramount importance.
If you or any of your family are showing symptoms please re-arrange your appointment. I'm a nice guy, but if you walk in with a visable illness I will be asking you to leave and rebook. Please don't put me in a position where I have to use my discretion. Be smart and use your own.
3)
Every single bit of effort is being put into. Making sure that the shop will be a sanitary environment. Hand sanitizer will be available for when you walk in and out of the building. Using it is mandatory.
Each customer will have a fresh gown when they are in the chair. All surfaces in the working areas will be cleaned before use and all tools sterilised using clippercide and Barbercide.
All gowns and towels in the shop will have been washed at 60 degrees before a single use.
4)
PPE. Face masks must worn when in the shop. If you do not have a face mask one will be provided for you at a £1 charge. Moving forward when in shops and enclosed public places masks must be worn so ideally you will have your own.
Gloves are not essential or even required as hand sanitizer will be provided.
5)
Cancellation policy. Going back I see being an extremely busy time. I already have a cancellation policy in place. Now listen I Iove you all, and have amazing relationships with my customer base. I'm a nice guy, but I'm also a businesses. Appointments are going to be very much in demand. If you no show, or cancel at short notice not only do I loose money (which let's be honest is what we go to work for) but it also stops an other customer taking that slot. The cancellation policy will 100% apply to every customer that books an appointment moving forward. It's nothing personal. By booking your appointment with Baht 'at you agree to the terms and conditions of the shop, and the cancellation policy is part of those terms and conditions. Thanks for your understanding with this matter
6)
Beards will be removed from the price list until a time where a vaccine is available and widely distributed.
7)
Waiting areas and social distancing.
While I work on an appointment basis already and it's generally not an issue to keep to social distancing, this must be taken seriously. Harry can not return to the shop due to there just not being the room to maintain government guidelines. Please where you can come to your appointments alone. If you are bringing children for thier haircut that's fine, but please bring only that child where possible. Due to the current situation children are restricted to the arcade machine and the waiting area only, to properly maintain social distancing. Being a parent with very active children myself I fully understand that children have short attention spans and keeping them in one place can be difficult. Any where that any body touches has to be sanatized before the next use. So children running around the shop will mean more sanitation and affect service times. I know this is a difficult situation to discuss, but nothing about any of this is not a difficult situation.
8)
By booking your appointment you agree to all of the above measures that have to be put in place. I'm a non conformist for the most part, and I'm going from a care free shop with all but health and safety in the way of rules being in place, to now a very controlled environment. I don't like having to have so many rules and guidelines in place, but moving forward it's required for a while
